Kim Pham is a writer, creative and BDSM educator based in Brooklyn. A first-generation daughter of Vietnamese refugees, she grew up in Boston and describes herself as “a woman made of the internet.”
After a career in venture capital, Kim co-founded the Asian food brand Omsom with her younger sister, Vanessa, on a mission to celebrate “proud and loud” Asian American identity. Launched in May 2020, Omsom raised $8 million, grew to a team of 20, and reached 3,000 stores including Whole Foods, Target and Sprouts. Kim led brand and marketing and was the public face of the company. The sisters sold the business in June 2024.
Today Kim writes and creates content about sexuality, shame and self-discovery as Kim of the Internet, helping people build an honest, compassionate relationship with their own desires.
